ANZAC stand for Australia New Zealand Army  Course  after our assembly we went to our field of rememberest where it  finished.  It was sad for some  of the families that did not get to see their sons or husband that came back from first world war

plans for the formation began in November 1914 while the first contingent of Australian and New Zealand troops were still in convoy bound for, as they thought, Europe. You know almost 100,000 New Zealanders server in the nz forces.   World war 1 started in August the 29th 1914.
